The Belfast office plays a pivotal role in the delivery of both the Traffic Management and Cloud Data Management solutions, and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineers, with a track record in delivering quality software to join our dynamic team in Belfast.
As a member of the development team, you will:
Contribute across the product lifecycle: from requirements analysis for new products to maintaining existing products.
Engage with the entire product team: from discussing design solutions with product owners and architects to ensuring that our support team provides high quality product documentation
Acquire detailed knowledge of Enea products and supporting technologies
Develop your professional skills and knowledge
Minimum 2:1 BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent relevant to Software Engineering
Required key skills
Strong knowledge of developing and debugging in C++ and ability to pick up new languages and concepts as necessary.
Knowledge in network programming and network protocols
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Good to have key skills
Experience with Linux operating systems for code development
Knowledge of multi-threading.
Knowledge in algorithms.
Knowledge about debug and monitoring Tools.
Scripting in one of these languages: Shell, Python, Bash.
Experience with versioning control systems, preferably GIT.

Experience of Agile Development Process
Experience developing and debugging in Java or Python
Using JIRA and Confluence to track agile epics and stories and product defects.
Experience of CI.CD tools, such as Jenkins
Knowledge of containers (Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar) and experience building cloud native applications that run on containers
Experience working with database technologies (relational and/or NoSQL)
