Senior Technical Account Manager / Presales Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technical Account Manager/Presales Engineer to join our team. In this senior role, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales efforts, securing new business, and strengthening relationships with key customers. You will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of the sales process, developing and maintaining strong technical relationships with customers, and providing expert guidance throughout the sales cycle to ensure business success. Additionally, you will oversee post-sales activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and expansion.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Enea’s sales team and work alongside our R&D, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced pre-sales technical support to sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead and manage high-level technical customer meetings and workshops to understand complex requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Deliver impactful customer presentations, product demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoC), and support proposals.
- Conduct in-depth customer training sessions on product usage and best practices.
- Analyze customer needs and propose sophisticated technical solutions in coordination with technical and sales departments.
- Develop and contribute to tender response strategies, including drafting the technical-commercial sections and ensuring proper solution sizing.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and engage with potential customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify high-value opportunities, providing strategic technical guidance during the prospecting phase.
- Support sales teams with advanced technical insights during customer negotiations.
Competences:
- Extensive knowledge of IP networks, protocols, internet-based services, and related applications.
- Advanced understanding of network architecture and networking tools.
- Proficiency in C programming, including data structures, algorithms, and POSIX multi-thread programming and debugging.
- In-depth experience with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) technology.
- Significant experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably in a senior presales or support capacity.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A well-established network of contacts within the communications and/or cybersecurity industries is highly desirable.

Education:
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the telecommunications or cybersecurity industries, including experience with service providers, network equipment manufacturers, or system integrators
