Responsibilities
As a Group Business Controller, you will be a central part of the finance function and work closely with the business units in analysing and monitoring group results and steering towards our targets. You will report to the CFO and be involved in ongoing analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, and supporting the group and business units in providing decision-making support for strategic and tactical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial planning and analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives. Analyse financial performance and provide insights.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast process of the group. Coordinates the budget & prepare forecasts for group functions.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and analysis to audit committee and board of directors.
- Revenue control: Secure accurate reporting of revenue on group level including classification and consistency.
- Cost control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve financial efficiency. Monitor and control operational expenses.
- Business partnering: Collaborate with management and various departments to provide financial guidance and support decision-making processes. Act as a financial advisor to senior management.
- Process improvement: Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Harmonizing financial processes, systems, and control activities across the group.
- System admin: System administrator for group planning tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA/CMA is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Business Controller or similar role with at least 10 years of experience as Group Business Controller, preferably from international and/or listed environment.
- Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Interest in systems and experience from Excel, PowerPoint, consolidation systems (preferably IBM Cognos Controller and IBM Planning Analytics), ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and BI tools such as PowerBI.
- Experience with IFRS
- Language requirements: Fluent English (Corporate language) and advanced Swedish
